We currently have opportunities for a Field Service Technician II, in Mt Vernon, IL
Responsibilities:
Welding and mechanic work on equipment such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on all models of electric shovels, draglines, loaders, and miners.
Performing assembly and disassembly and troubleshooting defective operations.
Performing underground welding and line boring and installing proximity detection devices on equipment.
Performing partial rebuilds of equipment underground, providing labor for installing and moving longwall mining boxes, and performing on-site line pan rebuilds.
Requirements:
Strong welding, fabrication and mechanical skills.
A minimum of 3 years of mine maintenance experience.
1-3 years of experience with numerous welding and cutting applications.
Ability to pass wire and stick welding certification
Federal or State Underground and Surface MSHA certification.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass post-offer drug screen and the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
Ability to travel up to 90%-95% including overnight travel.
